National Maternal Mental Health Hotline
The National Maternal Mental Health Hotline now offers 24/7, Free, Confidential Hotline for Pregnant and New Moms in English and Spanish.
Doulas
Health First Colorado members are now able to access doula benefits, as of 7/1/2024. Follow this link for more information.
EPSDT
If you’re pregnant and enrolled in Health First Colorado, the EPSDT benefit helps connect you and your baby to preventive care, screenings, and support services—starting before birth and continuing through your child’s early years.
Cover All Coloradans
Cover All Coloradans expands Health First Colorado and CHP+ benefits to children 18 and younger and pregnant individuals, regardless of immigration status. Effective January 1, 2025, eligible individuals can receive comprehensive care, including 12 months of postpartum coverage and coverage for children through age 18.

Nurse Family Partnership connects first-time parents with experienced, dedicated nurses who provide personalized guidance from early pregnancy through your child’s second birthday.
WIC
WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) supports growing families with nutritious food, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support. Designed for pregnant individuals, infants, and children under 5 years old, WIC helps ensure a healthy start during the early stages of life.
Prenatal Plus Program
The Prenatal Plus Program offers extra support to qualifying pregnant Health First Colorado members through a coordinated team of providers, helping to promote a healthy pregnancy and lower the risk of low birth weight.
Special Connections Program
Special Connections supports pregnant and postpartum Health First Colorado members with substance use disorders by offering case management, counseling, and education to promote healthier pregnancies and babies, providing care through pregnancy and up to one year after birth.
Tough as a Mother
A program for pregnant or postpartum individuals struggling with substance use that helps connect the parent to treatment and support.
